City bus, van services are canceled Dec. 24 and 26, to resume Tuesday, Dec. 27.
Battle Creek Transit will cancel bus and van services on Christmas Eve this year – Saturday, Dec. 24.
Riders should take note, since Transit typically offers service both on Saturdays and on Christmas Eve.
Including this schedule change, holiday operations for Transit are as follows:
- Friday, Dec. 23 – Offices closed; bus/van services run normally
- Saturday, Dec. 24 – Offices closed; bus/van services canceled
- Monday, Dec. 26 – Offices closed; bus/van services canceled
- Monday, Jan. 2, 2017 – Offices closed; bus/van services canceled
For the City of Battle Creek generally, all administrative offices will be closed Friday, Dec. 23; Monday, Dec. 26; and Monday, Jan. 2 for the Christmas and New Year holidays.
Please note that, because Christmas Day and New Year’s Day fall on Sundays, Waste Management will serve city customers on your regular days; there will be no delay in service.
