Battle Creek Police this morning are investigating an anonymous threat to the Lakeview School District.
The threat was made at about 10:15 p.m. Tuesday through the district's website. Police were notified at around 11:30 p.m. The threat read, "I am so sick of this s***. You better close school tomorrow or I'm going to shoot the place up."
Police officials are working closely with school administrators and the third-party company that manages the website. Police believe an email address was created to send the threat through the district's website contact form.
The district has closed schools for today and will provide activity updates via its website and Facebook page.
