Battle Creek Police and the Lakeview School District continue to work together closely this morning, as another threat was made to the schools.
The threat was not specific and there is no evidence indicating staff or students are in any danger. However, Lakeview is following emergency procedures and moving students to a safe location. Staff are working with parents to allow for student pickup.
Today's incident follows a threat made to the district through its website late Tuesday. Schools were closed Wednesday as a precaution and police continue to investigate.
