Public Works/Road Work

[ARCHIVED] Sanitary sewer system inspection begins this week

Sewer work

City contractors have begun work this week to inspect a portion of the sanitary sewer system, part of a 10-year plan to cover the entire system.

The work will continue through the summer and into October. The inspected portions will be cleaned as necessary and, if any repairs are needed, the city will release additional information on the location and road closures.

The impact to residents will be minimal – all work will take place in the public rights-of-way, and all roads will remain open to traffic during the routine inspection and cleaning of the system.

The work will take place across the city and in neighboring municipalities, and is not specific to one area. Please be alert for crews if you see them while driving through the city. Officials appreciate everyone’s patience during this and all work.
