[ARCHIVED] 'No turn on red' signs coming to North/Emmett

New signs will be installed this Wednesday at the intersection of North Avenue and Emmett Street to indicate “no turn on red.”


The signs, set to direct traffic in all four directions, aim to help improve pedestrian safety at the intersection, near Bronson Battle Creek Hospital, Irving Park, and Kellogg Community College.


As always, the installation work is weather dependent. City staff appreciate everyone’s patience during this and all work.
