The Battle Creek Police Department is asking citizens to help make Christmas a little brighter for area children by donating a toy to the annual Stuff-a-Truck event.
The BCPD’s SWAT truck will be parked outside the police station, 20 N. Division St., from 2 to 7 p.m. next Friday, Dec. 4, to be filled with new, unwrapped toys as part of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program.
A K-9 partner also will be there for a meet-and-greet with those who stop by.
For those who can’t stop by on Friday, Toys for Tots collection boxes are located at the police station and also at neighboring City Hall, 10 N. Division, as well as numerous other locations across the community.
We hope to see you there to support this wonderful holiday cause!
