As part of the ongoing water main project in the numbered streets this summer, westbound Territorial will be closed at 26th Street on Wednesday, May 31.
The closure will start at approximately 8 a.m. and is expected to last the entire day.
Motorists should seek alternate routes and avoid this area on Wednesday.
This project aims to replace water mains that have experienced problems with freezing and breaks. Street pavement, concrete, and curbing also will be replaced during this project.
