[ARCHIVED] Claude Evans basketball courts closed June 6-7

Basketball play on a nice day at Claude Evans Park, North Washington Avenue.

Basketball players at Claude Evans Park will have to take a break this week as crews make repairs to the courts.


Weather permitting, city contractors will do the work on Tuesday and Wednesday, June 6 and 7.


Signs will be in place indicating that the courts are closed for maintenance. No one will have access during this work.


Officials appreciate everyone’s patience during this and all maintenance work.
