The next group of city streets are scheduled for surface improvements, starting Monday, July 17.
The following streets will be microsurfaced, with work taking place from approximately 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Work is expected to finish by Aug. 7, weather permitting.
Microsurfacing is a 3/8- to 1.5-inch layer of a mixture of rock, liquid asphalt, water, and other additives. It fills cracks and road defects, and sets in an hour or two. This treatment lasts five to eight years and works well on residential streets with minor defects.
The streets will remain open to traffic. Please plan for intermittent traffic disruptions, which could cause delays.
Please do not park on these streets during work hours; vehicles will be towed.
We appreciate everyone’s patience during this and all work to maintain our infrastructure.
