Smoke may be visible during sewer testing on Monday

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — Starting at 9 a.m. Monday, smoke may be visible in the area of the Fort Custer Industrial Park, as a city contractor begins sewer system testing.

The testing is to try and determine the source of odor in the northeast part of the industrial park. Testing will take place near Hill Brady Road, north of Dickman Road and Geislinger Road.

Depending on the results of Monday’s testing, an additional day may be added. The Battle Creek Fire Department has been notified of this work.

We appreciate everyone’s patience as we work to improve our infrastructure.
