Smoke may be visible during sewer testing tomorrow

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — Starting at 9 a.m. Wednesday smoke may be visible in the area of Griffin Court and Foster Drive as city crews begin sewer system testing.

The testing is to determine if there are any comprises in the system in this area. Testing will take place on Griffin Court and Foster Drive. During the test smoke could potentially enter homes in the area but is not harmful.

We appreciate everyone’s patience during this work.
