Railroad work to close section of South Avenue

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. – South Avenue will be closed at the railroad crossing starting Monday, for work to rebuild the railroad crossing.

Canadian National Railway is directing the work.

This section of South Avenue will be closed from 7 a.m. on Monday, March 26 until 5 p.m. on Friday, March 30. A detour route will use Fountain, Jay and Main streets and Dickman Road.

We appreciate everyone’s patience during this work.
