All families must create a new account; change won't affect current registrations.
Neighbors registering for softball, soccer, and other city Recreation programs will see a new, better program for doing so, starting next week.
The Michigan-based, ReCPro software will make registration easier – the community will see a much different look, but with a modern, user-friendly registration process.
Once the software goes live next week, everyone registering for programs must create a new family account. Those who have registered for programs already this year still must take this step. This will not change current program registrations – everyone already registered in upcoming programs still will be in those programs.
Registration still will be available through the Recreation Department website – bcparks.org. To register for programs online, you need family member names, address, phone number, birthdays, school grades, and primary email address.
Many spring and summer programs – including the city’s Spring Break Blast Off Camp and Kidventure Summer Camp – are open for registration now. Visit the Recreation website for all the details.
Anyone with questions as they get started with the new registration program can call the Recreation Department staff at 269-966-3431.
