Road closure on Lafayette Street this Friday
BATTLE CREEK, Mich. – On Friday, June 15, crews will begin widening Lafayette St., from Angell St. to the Springfield city limits.
During this work, the road will be closed to through traffic. Signs will be posted for a detour, using Angell St. Jackson St. W., and 20th St. N. Emergency vehicles will not have access.
Crews will be working from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The work is scheduled to be complete by Friday, Aug. 31st, weather permitting.
Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes.
