The city’s annual water quality report – using data collected in 2017 – is now available for viewing.
The report is available on the city’s website, battlecreekmi.gov/2017waterqualityreport. From the home page, also navigate to it from the I Want To... tab, View, Annual Water Quality Reports.
Water customers may request that a paper copy be delivered to them by calling Tara Penney at the Department of Public Works, 269-966-3343, or Utility Billing, 269-966-3366.
This annual report contains important information about the source and quality of our drinking water. The document explains where the Battle Creek area’s water comes from, gives information related to various water issues, including lead in home plumbing and cross-connections, and outlines and explains the water sampling results from last year.
This document, also known as a consumer confidence report, is required by the Environmental Protection Agency for public water suppliers that serve the same people year round.
