[ARCHIVED] Temporary closures set for Friday at Capital SW/Jackson

Traffic signal mast arms

Work to replace the traffic signal mast arms at Capital Avenue SW and Jackson Street continues on Friday, July 27, with removal of the old mast arms.

City contractor J. Ranck Electric will remove the old mast arms, which will require temporary closures of all lanes, one at a time, at each leg of the intersection.

Work will begin at 9 a.m., and staff expect the intersection to be completely open again by the afternoon. Those driving through are advised to seek alternate routes, and obey police officers enforcing the closures.

As always, work is weather dependent, and city staff appreciate everyone’s patience during work to maintain and improve our infrastructure.
