The Battle Creek Police Department and other area law enforcement agencies will, once again, participate in a local National Night Out event.
Our local, family-friendly and free event will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. tomorrow – Tuesday, Aug. 7. Due to rain in tonight's forecast, the event has moved indoors to Kellogg Arena.
National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign from the National Association of Town Watch, which promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our communities safer, better places to live. Events take place nationwide the first Tuesday in August.
The Battle Creek Police Department will bring special unit displays, vehicles, and more. We invite you to bring the entire family for games, music, food and fun!
Along with law enforcement agencies, other community partners and organizations will participate. We hope to see you there!
