The intersection of Capital Avenue SW and Columbia Avenue will become an all-way stop for for the morning on Tuesday, Oct. 2.
The temporary change is necessary so a crew can repair two conduits that service the traffic signal. A contractor working in the area struck and damaged the conduits. Repairs require that the traffic signal go dark.
Work hours are set for 7 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday.
Advance warning signs will be posted in all directions of the intersection, stop signs will be in place at the intersection, and Battle Creek Police will be present at the intersection.
Please use caution through this intersection on Tuesday, and take an alternate route, if possible. Crews appreciate everyone’s patience during this and all work.
