The city’s Code Compliance team will host a community learning session on Wednesday, April 10.
The session is set for 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the city’s Department of Public Works, 150 S. Kendall St.
The team will share information about the Code Compliance Division and the services the team provides across the city, and will discuss trends across the community, and in individual Neighborhood Planning Councils.
Staff will provide maps of the NPCs, and will ask neighbors to think about their top three concerns in their neighborhoods. Code staff will use this to inform activities in 2019.
“Code Compliance works in every neighborhood in the City of Battle Creek, and each of those neighborhoods is unique,” said Community Services Director Marcie Gillette. “We want to share our community vision with neighbors who attend this learning session, and talk about ways we can continue improving conditions, and adding to the vibrancy of our neighborhoods.”
All neighbors are invited and encouraged to attend to learn more about these city services.
