A city Sewer crew continues work to replace a culvert on South Helmer Road, near Tiffany Lane. Failure of the culvert is believed to have caused a large sink hole in the road.
Because the work is taking longer than expected, this section of Helmer will remain closed through 5 p.m. Friday. South Helmer remains completely closed between Beckley Road and Tiffany Lane, due to a large sink hole.
The closure is for both directions of traffic, includes emergency vehicles, and will be in place until further notice. Please seek alternate routes to travel in this area.
