Road closure for sewer work next week
BATTLE CREEK, Mich. – Starting Tuesday, July 16, Base Ave., Major Ave., and Admiral Ave. will be closed until Wednesday, July 17, while crews preform sewer repair work.
The Sewer Department will be making sewer repairs at the intersection of Admiral Ave. and Base Ave. beginning next Tuesday morning. During this work, Base Ave., Major Ave., and Admiral Ave, will be closed to through traffic. Emergency vehicles will not have access.
The work hours will be from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. The work is scheduled to be completed by end of business day on Wednesday, July 17, weather permitting.
Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes.
