Water main work on Foster Dr./ Cañerías Principales
BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — A contractor for the City of Battle Creek will be replacing water main starting Friday, August 23, resulting in a temporary water outage and a road closure.
Water main work on Foster Dr., between Griffin Ct. and Columbia Ave. E., will require a temporary water shutoff on Friday, August 23, from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
During this work, Foster Dr., between Columbia Ave. E. and Griffin Ct., will be closed from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., weather permitting. Emergency vehicles will not have access. Motorist should seek alternate routes.
City neighbors in this area should be prepared to be without water and for potential boil water advisories when service returns. Additional information will be made available to the media, and through the city’s website and social media, should it become necessary.
Door hangers will be placed to all affected.
