Traffic Signal Replacement Project at the Capital Ave. /Michigan Ave. Intersection

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. - On Monday, Oct. 21, J. Ranck Electric will begin the process of replacing the traffic signal mast arms at the Capital Ave. /Michigan Ave. intersection.

The first phase of this project will include the underground and foundation work.  At times, the contractor will need to close lanes.  This phase of the project will take approximately two weeks.  The intersection will return to normal once this phase is complete.

Additionally, pedestrians should be advised that the sidewalks at the intersection will be closed for the duration of this work.  A detour will be provided for pedestrians.

Motorists should anticipate possible traffic delays and are advised to seek alternate routes.

We will share any changes or updates as work progresses. Thank you for your patience during this construction.
