Traffic Signal Replacement Project at Capital Ave. /Michigan Ave. continues

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. - On Monday, January 27, J. Ranck Electric will continue the process of replacing the traffic signal mast arms at the Capital Ave. /Michigan Ave. intersection.

This phase of the project will include installing new mast arms and electrical work.  At times, the contractor will need to close lanes.  This phase of the project will take several weeks to complete.  The intersection will return to normal once this phase is complete.

Additionally, pedestrians should be advised that the sidewalks at the intersection will be closed for the duration of this work.  A detour will be provided for pedestrians.

Motorists should anticipate possible traffic delays and are advised to seek alternate routes.

We will share any changes or updates as work progresses. Thank you for your patience during this construction.
