Electric work continues tomorrow
BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — A Consumers Energy subcontractor – Harlan Electric Co. – will continue electric system improvement work Tuesday, Jan. 28, resulting in more lane shifts.
Capital Avenue S.W., between Columbia Avenue E. and Weeks Avenue, will require a lane shift as the shoulder will be closed.
At times during this work, traffic will be guided with flagging, so both directions can take turns traveling through the area safely.
Work may take place outside of the regular 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. hours to minimize impact to traffic and is expected to be complete by Thursday, Jan. 30.
Please expect delays when utilizing these roads and be alert for workers in these areas.
