Program Administration

  • Registration deadline dates are set to allow staff sufficient time to prepare for program enrollment. Please register for programs early so that we can ensure programs will be able to run. 
  • After the registration deadline, registration will only be taken based on availability. If space is available, a $7 late fee per program, per participant, will be required.
  • Changes may be made due to low enrollment or other circumstances. 
    • If a program is canceled, 100% of the registration fee will be refunded. 
    • Before the registration deadline, refunds for individual participants will incur an administrative fee of $5 or $15 for programs exceeding $200. 
    • After the registration deadline, refunds will only be issued for cases of extenuating circumstances.
    • Refunds and credits may take up to three weeks to process
  • All weather cancellations for evening programs will be announced by 4:30 pm. We encourage participants to call our weather line at 269-966-3434 for updates.
  • Battle Creek Parks and Recreation welcomes people of all abilities. Please let us know when you register if you need assistance to participate in a program. Battle Creek Parks and Recreation is a proud member of Integrated Recreation Programming (IRP), a group of recreation providers dedicated to supporting all community members in meeting their recreational needs.
  • We have a Helping Hands Scholarship fund to help provide financial assistance towards youth programs. Scholarships are income-based and limited. Applications are available at Full Blast.
