City of Battle Creek/Battle Creek Transit
Proposed Applications for State of Michigan Financial Assistance
All citizens are advised that the City of Battle Creek/Battle Creek Transit has prepared applications for State of Michigan financial assistance for FY 2020 (October 1, 2019 – September 30, 2020) as required under Act 51 of the Public Acts of 1951, as amended, for Federal assistance as required under the Federal Transit Act, as amended.
The City of Battle Creek/Battle Creek Transit is requesting the following funds:

The proposed applications are on file at Battle Creek Transit, 339 West Michigan Avenue, Battle Creek 49037, and may be reviewed during a 30-day period, January 4, 2019 through February 4, 2019, between the hours of 8:00 am to noon – 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
Written comments regarding the applications must be addressed to Richard Werner, Transit Manager, at the address shown above and received no later than February 4, 2017. Written comments may also be emailed to rwwerner@battlecreekmi.gov. A public hearing to receive citizen input on the applications will be held on Tuesday, February 5, 2019, at 7 pm, in the Battle Creek City Commission Chambers on the 3rd floor of City Hall.
